Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021 as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she is responsible for covering everything including NASA's recently-created Space Force to commercial space business and the emergence of space tourism. Kristin is her mother was one of NASA astronauts and an avid space fan has spent her entire childhood in the field. She worked for five years in the position of White House correspondent for FOX News covering space policy under the Biden and Trump administrations. In that period, Kristin also covered presidential impeachment proceedings and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations to control the Coronavirus Pandemic. She traveled extensively with both the president and vice-president also included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on together with Donald Trump. Kristin worked her way through the regional news market of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as Washington, D.C. for over a decade before joining the CBS network. She won the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. for her work as the CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin founded Field Mouse Films with her experience behind the camera in 2014. Field Mouse Films specialized in making documentary films for corporate clients which included Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is an Bachelor of Science in Journalism that she obtained from Boston University. She is married to her husband at Washington, D.C., and she has a 3 year old daughter.
